Today we had a family get together at my Grandma's house [next door]. It was nice, my grandma, aunt, uncle, 3 cousins [and one boyfriend], and my parents. All eating tacos. Except for my dad who doesn't care for them. He ate a sub sandwich. haha

My one cousin Sam has had longer hair for several years now, he recently cut it short. I saw it for the first time today.. he looks like a muscular Sufjan Stevens. I wasn't the only one.. after showing mom a pic of Sufjan in a magazine she agreed to the similarities.

A fun time was had by all. And tomorrow promises to be just as much. I'm taking my mom out for dinner.

I just began reading The Hobbit. Then moving on to the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Suprising myself by actually getting into it so far. What are your thoughts on the books?

AND.. Tennessee in 7 days.. excited I am

i'm doing great!

there are so many things to like about your post. first of all, tacos! second, family. third, your cousin is handsome if he looks like sufjan. fourth, mom's day and lastly...

i read the hobbit and the lord of the rings trilogy after seeing the fellowship of the ring at the movie theatre. the movie was TOO good to NOT read the books ha. i had seen the cartoon of the hobbit, so the book was hard to see in my head. i kept imagining cartoon characters instead of real people. it sucked for me because of that. but i read through the lord of the rings in like 2 weeks because they were sooooo gooood!! it made me really appreciate the movies because they kept a lot of the same stuff. man...it makes me want to read all of my favorite parts of all the books all over again. it's really fantastic!

woah...i guess i don't need to write my own xanga entry after a comment like that!
